(2016) 15,000 ophthalmic procedures
Since the establishment of the Vista Alpina Eye Centre until mid-2016, 15,000 ophthalmic interventions have been performed.

(2016) Safety glasses instead of an eye bandage after cataract surgery
Due to the very small opening that is made in the cornea, a conventional eye bandage is no longer necessary after cataract surgery. Our patients are given a slightly tinted pair of safety glasses instead.
