The toric lens is suitable for patients with corneal irregularity. It is designed and implanted, to correct the corneal irregularity as best possible. It also has a blue light filter.

With a toric lens. you will usually no longer need glasses for distance viewing.

For close range (e.g. reading or working on the computer) however, you will - after a succcessful intervention - still require simple reading glasses.

If, despite all measurements and preliminary examinations, there is still a relevant refractive error (e.g. still slight myopia) after the surgery, this can be corrected. For example, an additional intraocular lens can be implanted in front of the first intraocular lens. In this case, the Vista Alpina eye center assumes all costs associated with the correction.
